ROYAL PROPERTIES BROKERS TWO NEW LEASES AT 66 MAIN STREET IN YONKERS, NEW YORK

Leasing activity has remained very strong at 66 Main Street in Yonkers, New York.  The Royal Properties leasing team of Jeffery Kintzer, Jr. and David Landes has recently signed two leases at 66 Main Street.  Verizon FIOS has leased 2,200 Sq. Ft. and Key Bank has leased 3,200 Sq. Ft. 

66 Main is located at the Yonkers waterfront.  Built in 2008, it is an eight story residential building consisting of 180 apartments along with 25,000 Sq. Ft. of retail space. 

Verizon FIOS was drawn to this location due to the fact that the building was brand new and offered state of the art build-out.  Verizon FIOS will operate at this location as a retail store and a customer service center.  The store was designed in a family room typesetting to make it customer friendly.  David Landes, Principal of Royal Properties, Inc., and the leasing broker for 66 Main Street states, “Bringing in Verizon FIOS with their state of the art building design only adds to the very upscale character of the 66 Main Street Building. The building’s residential units are fully leased and with the strong activity on the retail portion, the building shows the strength of the redevelopment of the Yonkers Waterfront.”

Key Bank will lease the end cap position in the building, which offers the bank frontage of over fifty feet along the Main Street corridor.  Key has been in the market for a downtown Yonkers branch and was drawn to 66 Main Street due to the new construction and convenience of a 600 car parking garage across the street from the property.  The lease signing by Key Bank brings another national retailer to the Yonkers Waterfront.

In addition to these two completed transactions, leasing activity remains strong at the property with leases out to two additional retailers leaving only one space of approximately 4,877 Sq. Ft., which is suitable for restaurant use, as outdoor seating is available.
