ROYAL PROPERTIES BROKERS ALDI DEAL IN NANUET AND BRINGS ROCKLAND CENTER TO 100% OCCUPANCY

Royal Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce that Aldi signed a long term lease for 22,000 square feet at Rockland Center, 43 East Route 59 in Nanuet, NY.  Aldi will be taking a portion of the former Pathmark Supermarket and renovating it into a brand new state of the art Aldi Supermarket.

“Aldi will fill a void in the trade area due to the closing of the Pathmark Supermarket. Aldi was drawn to this location because of its enormous visibility, traffic counts of over 32,000 cars per day and the strong retail co-tenancy at the this shopping center,” states David Landes, Principal of Royal Properties, Inc.

Rockland Center is a 265,000 square foot shopping center, which underwent a transformation in 2017.  Aldi will join newly signed TJ Maxx, Sierra Trading Post, Kirkland’s Home Décor along with other co-tenants such as HomeGoods, PetSmart, AC Moore, Party City, Big Lots, AutoZone, Lumber Liquidators, McDonald’s, Chili’s, Five Guys and a varied combination of local and regional retailers. There will be an additional 10,000 square feet of future buildable space in this center.

David Landes and Jeanine Kemm of Royal Properties, Inc. represented the Landlord, American Continental Properties (ACP) and Tim McNamara of Sullivan Hayes Companies represented Aldi.
