Royal Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce that ShopRite has entered into a lease to expand into the old Party City space for an additional 12,765 square feet at Turnpike Shopping Center, located at 1975 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield, Connecticut.
This expansion provides ShopRite with the much-needed additional square footage, increasing the grocer’s total footprint to 54,328 square feet, enhancing the store’s visibility and accessibility while providing additional space to serve the growing customer base in this affluent Fairfield County market. This reflects ShopRite’s strong performance at this location, which is within one of Fairfield County’s busiest retail corridors.
“ShopRite’s decision to significantly expand their presence is a powerful endorsement of both their success at this location and the center’s continued strength as a retail destination,” said Jeff Kintzer, Principal of Royal Properties Inc., who along with Caroline Kintzer, served as the sole broker in this transaction.
ShopRite of Fairfield serves as a cornerstone grocery destination within Fairfield County’s busy commercial corridor. The store opened in September 2011, taking over a former Shaw’s supermarket location as part of ShopRite’s expansion into Connecticut and operates as “Grade A ShopRite,” serving as one of 12 ShopRite grocery stores operated by Cingari Family Markets across Connecticut. The store has undergone recent expansions and renovations, demonstrating the Cingaris’ ongoing commitment to serving local families with the same dedication that has defined their business for nearly 100 years.
