Royal Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce they have brokered a deal with ShopRite Supermarket at Nutmeg Square Shopping Center, located at 72 Newtown Road in Danbury, Connecticut.

ShopRite will be taking the former Stop & Shop location in the center. Co-tenants include European Wax Center, Sally Beauty Supply, Jersey Mikes, Supercuts, My Eye Dr., Little Caesar’s Pizza, and many more. Neighboring retailers include Walmart, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Starbucks, Chipotle, AFC Urgent Care, Dunkin, Aldi, Dollar Tree, Target, and many more. The supermarket will be operated by Cingari Family Markets, owners of multiple ShopRite stores throughout Connecticut, and is expected to undergo an $18 million renovation with plans to open in the Fall of 2026.
